Following my visit to Alderley Edge several years ago, I decided to explore some of the areas that feature strongly in Alan Garner's The Moon of Gomrath. We therefore spent the day at Errwood Reservoir, taking in the ruins of Errwood Hall and climbing Shining Tor.

Having taken a tonne of photos, I've edited a few here and accompanied them with some quotes from The Moon of Gomrath to highlight some of the areas mentioned in the book.
